We are delighted to announce the 148th Annual Exhibition of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club.

With a remarkable history stretching back more than 150 years, the Club continues to play an important part in Dublin’s artistic life. Our Annual Exhibition celebrates the strength and diversity of contemporary art, bringing together long-standing Club members and new artistic voices in a lively and varied showcase.

Our annual Open Submission invites non-members from across the country to submit work for consideration. This year, almost 50 artists selected through the open submission process will exhibit alongside 67 Club members in the impressive Townhall space at 1WML, Windmill Lane, Dublin 2. Together they will present more than 170 works, including painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed-media work.

The exhibition will open to the public on Monday 14 September and continue until Sunday 27 September 2026.

We are also delighted to take part in Culture Night on Friday 18 September, when the exhibition will remain open until 8pm, with live music and painting demonstrations by Club members. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition in a relaxed atmosphere and see artists at work.
