Inhabiting the space between memento and memory, Deirdre Kearney’s paintings await a filling in, a borrowed element. It is hoped that amid the fault lines of contemplation, construction and chance lie images which, in the viewing, ultimately attain completion.
Deirdre Kearney is a professional visual artist living and working in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland. In 2015 Deirdre graduated with a Masters, Art in the Contemporary World from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Deirdre was awarded two residencies, one under the states NAPD scheme for disadvantaged schools and another in Mount Anville Seconday School, Dublin.
