Michael Gemmell studied in the Dublin College of Art and The Limerick College of Art, he had his own business, signwriting stained glass and interior design.
For the past 20 years he has been painting full time and has had many solo and group shows in New York, Paris, Germany London, and through Ireland.
Michael works in oils and his work is like a birds eye view of the landscape, he paints the bogs, the Burren and the Aran islands.
