Oonagh O’Toole is visual artist living in Dublin. She was born and lives in Dublin city and studied Visual Communications at the National College of Art and Design and worked as a designer and illustrator before focusing on painting and art education. She teaches art in aSecondary school in Dublin.
Oonagh paints the colours, tones and shapes around her, noticing the beauty and drama in the details of ordinary scenes.
Through still lifes, portraiture and cityscapes she explores the colours and light of the everyday, observing objects, buildings and people and the spaces between them.
Her work is shown by Kilbaha Gallery, Loop Head Co Clare.
