Vincent Lambe was born in Dublin and studied at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, under artists Sean Keating, Maurice MacGonigal and John F. Kelly. He attended The New School for Social Research, N.Y. He studied landscape painting with Grenville Cottingham (Kerry School of Landscape Painting) and Henry Healy, RHA.
He has worked as an Art Director in the advertising industry in Dublin and New York. He is a past president of The Water Colour Society of Ireland, a member of The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, The Dublin Art Society and The Ulster Watercolour Society. His work is to be found in collections in Ireland, England and The United States.
Vincent teaches groups and gives demonstrations and workshops. He paints in watercolours and oils favouring a free broad style and his subjects are landscapes, animals, the nude figure, portraits and still life.

Vincent has had two solo exhibitions, along with a joint Exhibition in New York and The Bective Gallery in Dublin. Several group exhibitions including; Kilakee Art Centre Summer Show; RHA Summer Exhibitions; Tattan Gallery; Independent Artists Exhibition; An tOreachtas Summer Exhibition, and a regular exhibitor with The Water Colour Society of Ireland, The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, The Dublin Art Society, and The Ulster Watercolour Society.
He is the winner of:
