Born in Dublin in 1953, my father Mick was a part time painter who encouraged me to sketch & paint from an early age.
I was a member of Dublin Fire Brigade for 32 years and painted as often as free time allowed. I attended the National College of Art on a part time basis over a four year period, however upon retiring from the brigade I have become a full time painter. Initially I concentrated on landscape but in the last decade I have focused more on urban landscape, in particular Dublin City.
I am very proud my artworks have found their way to many countries especially the UK, Australia and the US. I am honoured to have been selected as a member to the DPSC, where so many wonderful painters past and present reside.
