Niamh Harding-Miller is a graduate of The National College of Art and Design, and the Waterford School of Art. She holds honours certification in Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and Design. She also holds a first-class honours post-Graduate Diploma in Art and Design Teaching.

As an artist she works in various mediums, Oil, Watercolour, Acrylic, Pastel, Pencil and Mixed Media. She likes to marry different subject matter and styles to the qualities best found in the different media. A landscape, a portrait or an abstract will be very different depending on the medium chosen. For example her Botanical Flowers are always in watercolour or Pencil. Animals are her favourite subject but she paints any subject in any style depending on what the client wants. Commissioned paintings hang in Europe, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Britain and Ireland.

In her general artistic experience her work has been varied. She worked as a colourist for the Cuala Press. She has done book illustration and painted limited edition books. She designed the art work for and painted a double-decker bus. She has drawn and painted stage sets, and made carnival heads. She has done China painting and Silk painting and a little weaving for tapestry. She is a member of the Dublin Painting and Sketching club, The Greystones Art Group, and AIB Art Society. She has been exhibiting in group-shows since the early seventies.

Her teaching experience spans thirty-eight years, teaching at all levels.
